Pumpkin Spice is an old spice that has seen an increase in relevance in recent times. For us, we only used pumpkin spice in making great pumpkin pies but have recently started putting it in everything. Kay likes it in her coffee (both whipped and not). Drew hasn’t used it too much in cooking, but ongoing trials will see how things turn out (He has used it in some cake).

2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Ginger
1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
½ Teaspoon Clove
Optional
½ Teaspoon Allspice
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl or jar. Store in a cool, dry place.
Add some to a boxed cake mix to give it some fall flavor.
