Time Talk About Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Most people end up eating the same thing day in and day out. The same bowl of oatmeal or cereal with a mug of coffee is boring (Here is how to fix the coffee). Mix breakfast up sometimes. Have a bowl of fresh fruit or scrambled eggs. Or have one of these recipes.

Sausage Gravy –

1lb of ground sausage (we like hot sausage)

2 Tablespoons of Flour (may need more)

Milk

Salt

Pepper

An easy, simple breakfast to make that is great on eggs, bread, or a biscuit. First, cook sausage on medium heat in a pan and drain the grease. Add in flour and stir. Add in milk till the sausage is barely covered. Turn heat to low and cook stirring occasionally. Cook until desired thickness is reached and add seasoning to taste.

Fried eggs-

Eggs (duh)

Salt

Pepper

Making a fried egg is easy. Making a great fried egg is hard. What we recommend doing is heat up a pan and the oil of your choice. Crack the eggs into a bowl for easy transfer into the pan. Add into pan and season with salt and pepper. Cover with lid and cook for a few mins. The timing depends on the level of doneness you want.

Pancakes –

1- 1 1/2 cup Flour

2 teaspoons Baking powder

1 Tablespoon Sugar

Salt

1 Egg

1 cup of MIlk

1 teaspoon Vanilla

2-3 Tablespoons Oil (Butter is acceptable)

Any desired toppings (blueberries, chocolates, etc)

Mix wet ingredients and dry ingredients separately. Combine once both are thoroughly mixed. The batter can end up lumpy or not. It’s your personal preference. Add in any extras wanted. Heat a pan in medium-medium-high heat and butter pan. Add batter to your desired size and flip when air bubbles are forming. Serve with butter or syrup.

Breakfast doesn’t have to be fast or bland. Things can be made the night before, such as pancake batter or gravy. Fruit can be cut and stored. We like to wake up and taste something good, and you should too.
