Ditch The Packet: BBQ

Now that it’s summer it’s time to rev up the grills. But, before you pull out the bottle of sauce or the premade grill seasoning consider making your own. A good BBQ rub isn’t too hard to make and can be customized to fit exactly what you like. If more of a sweet smoky flavor is your taste then add more smoked paprika and brown sugar. If you like it hot then add more chili powder and cumin. The ingredients are probably in your cupboard already. Here are the ingredients we use to make a rub. Enjoy!

We are all for home cooking and think everyone should be inclined to make their food taste better. We use this rub on chicken, pork, and beef. Ribs, chops, breasts, thighs, shoulder, and more, we have put this rub on everything. Each time the rub is made differently and still tastes good. Just like with the taco seasoning taste along the way. Have a good Summer and make some good food.
