Hello dear readers. Do you enjoy the local news? Do you enjoy the slightly unsettling and the weird? Well, then may I introduce you to the podcast Welcome to Nightvale. The radio show from the small town of Nightvale. Nightvale isn’t that special. Nothing more than a desert town run by a city council of hooded robed figures, protected by the sheriff’s secret police, and lights appear above the Arby’s. Cecil the radio host’s soothing voice talks about anything and everything about the going ons of the town. Included is a small break about the weather (actually, its a music break).
The podcast airs twice monthly and is written by Joesph Fink and Jeffery Cranor. The show is narrated by Cecil Baldwin. This podcast has been rising in popularity over the years spinning off books and even a live show. I found the podcast back in high school thanks to a friend of mine. I have listened to it on and off for a while now, and always love it when I do. I highly recommend the show even if you aren’t a fan of podcasts. I promise its entertaining.
